On Saturday 4 September 2010, we had our 14th Nearly New Sale and here is a map of the sale halls.
In just 2 hours, over 3880 items were sold which averages at about one item every two seconds! We counted about 340 buyers coming to the sale, and so we estimate that each person left the sale with an average of 11 and a half items each!
Profits from the sale were donated to Edinburgh Sick Kids Hospital and to Polwarth Church.
There are no images displayed from this sale, as they all look the same as previous sales! Lots and lots of stuff at the beginning, lots of people queuing, lots of things being sold to new owners, and not much stuff left at the end. Another typical sale, it seems!
