On Saturday 18th April 2009, we again broke all our previous records with both attendence and number of items sold. In just 2 hours, 3600 items were sold [600 more than the previous year], which averages out at one item every two seconds!
Profits from the sale were donated to Kidney Kids Scotland and to Polwarth Church.
There are no images displayed from this sale, as they all look the same as previous sales! Lots and lots of stuff at the beginning, lots of people queuing, lots of things being sold to new owners, and not much stuff left at the end. Another typical sale, it seems!
Also, we have to mention the helpers who
were up at the crack of dawn putting up (and eventually taking down) the
marquees...
