On Saturday 26th April 2008, our most successful Nearly New Sale took place.
In just 2 hours, over 3000 items were sold which averages at about one item every two-and-a-half seconds! Profits from the sale were donated to CLIC Sargent and to Polwarth Church.

Shown here, on the left, is Alice briefing all the volunteer helpers before the sael started. By this time, the Marquees were already up (thanks to the dutiful dads: John, Jason, Harvey, Gordon, Nevil, Mike, Richard, Dom, Ross and Ron) and the queue was already round the building. Thanks to all those who helped advertise the sale and who came along to buy items. Nothing would have happened without you! |
